DeWayne does kind of look like Thorstein, doesn’t he? Ha!
Evidently I came from a different school. They always told me that necessity was the mother of invention.
So many inventions, so little time. What happened to the days when people used to sit for hours on their porches and visit with everyone on the block while all the kid’s played together in the yard down the street? We didn’t have as much then, but we weren’t even aware we were missing anything; except when it was rainy or cold and we couldn’t go out and see everyone. Now we’re lucky if we know our neighbors by name, and scared to make eye contact for fear of what might happen. I think the necessity is to try and get back to some of that.

Yep, over half the people think that TV, microwave ovens, and car air conditioning are “necessities.”
Gosh, fiber wasn’t even on the list.
He is an incredibly good looking fellow isn’t he.
Wouldn’t it be nice to see that list from 1950… or 1910… What are parents and grandparents thought was important.
Is a mouse a necessity? Just read where Bill Gates is eliminating the mouse in 2009. The one hooked to your PC, not the one that posts here on this site.
Yahoo.com must also be a necessity. Mr Gates is offering $50 billion for it.
Also changed my name from John to John33. Someone else “dumber than me” has started using “John”.
DeWayne Bartels?

So many people – so few Johns.
