David Jordan’s Transportation Blog had to be abandoned, according to Mr. Jordan, due to spam issues and the loss of ability to post images. So he’s moved to Billy Dennis’s BlogPeoria Project. It’s called Peoria Station.
I think he’ll like the flexibility a WordPress interface provides. I don’t know how much storage space Billy gives him with a BlogPeoria account, but I hope it’s a lot because David takes a lot of pictures! I’m glad to see this excellent blog move to a better platform.
C. J. Thanks for the publicity.
Answer: Total uploading space is 300 MB. The maximum uploadable file size is 1 MB. Not a huge amount, but most will never approach that number. I strongly recommend that users shrink pictures to no wider than 450 pixels wide before uploading, using “medium” quality setting. It really saves on space and readers/viewers cannot tell the difference.
David P. Jordan ROCKS!
How’s business along the Kellar Branch?
Prego,
Carver Lumber has been slow due to the downturn in the housing market but it will come back. Also, Globe Energy has publicly stated that they intend to use rail service for at least some of their shipments. Globe is clearing land along Pioneer Parkway for its factory expansion so next year should bear some mighty good fruit. There are other projects in the works that are not yet public.
