City: Residential plowing complete

The City sent out this announcement this morning at 6 a.m.:

Residential plowing is completed and 90% of alleys are being reported as plowed. The Snow Route Parking Ban is no longer in effect.

Even though residential plowing is completed, I’m told District 150 buses are still unable to traverse the residential streets, and that’s why school was cancelled today.

  1. If the COP is done plowing, and #150 still unable to traverse streets guess school is closed until spring. Since the COP is leaving the streets the way they are.

  2. The reason for cancelling school again today is obvious to anyone who drove down Northmoor yesterday. Transparency???

  3. Are the buses on Northmoor? My guess is that no one has freed the buses from the snow yet.

  4. Northmoor was fine today. I saw that the buses were lined up on the road leading to Northmoor from Richwoods High School. Also kudos to the 150 truck plow driver who was backing out onto University this morning blocking traffic. Finally clearing the parking lots 2 days after the storm. I’m guessing the reason school was canceled was because the snow wasn’t removed from the school lots. Crack operation they’ve got going over there.

  5. Maybe they loaned out all their trucks to the city so citizens like Billy Dennis could get to work and do their valuable jobs.
