Good for the Giants…I could have cared less about this game going in…but I was glad the “Cheatriots” lost!

Alleged cheaters.
It was proven they are cheaters. That’s why their draft pick was taken away and they were fined.
Wasn’t the Giants a wildcard team? They didn’t finish first in their division and you rooted for them?
I’ll tell you the same thing I told my dad when he asked me that:
(1) Football is different than baseball,
(2) The Patriots are cheaters.
How is this different? The Giants finished second in the NFC east behind the Cowboys. How is this different from the Astros? And what does the Patriots cheating, which I agree with you on, have to do with the Giants not winning their division?
For starters, football teams don’t play 162 games a year. It’s like comparing apples and oranges. The Patriots’ cheating puts their legitimacy in question.
They were still a wild card team. If you play 16, 60, or 162, second is still second. And the Patriots legitimacy has nothing to do with who they faced.
