  1. Hmmm….let me guess:

Hinton walks in while “Hail to the Chief” plays from a boom box.

The room contains a podium, mike and a camera in front of him.

The press is in a separate room watching via closed circuit T.V., so no questions can be asked.

Hinton makes his statement and leaves to the same music he entered with.

    Fade to black.

  2. Now he wants the students to get out of school at 1:45 PM on Wednesdays cutting 90 minutes out of the day. Why is he intent on cutting it? I don’t remember that this was one of the recommendations made by the parent group.

  3. Ahhh, the arrogant King Hinton has spoken! By his grace the children will only lose 90 minutes per week instead of 225. If the public wants to roll over and play dead and not fight Hinton and the BOE then you get what you deserve! Demand a full rescission of ANY cuts in time! Come on people – FIGHT this arrogant and deceitful superintendent!!!

    ^oo^~

  4. Cutting time on just one day of the week? LOL.. that is most unhelpful to working parents.

  5. I agree. This is unacceptable! No one answered my question from yesterday… Has anyone heard that these hours are going to be used in deliberations with the teacher’s union for the upcoming contract? I tried to find online when the contract expires but haven’t had any luck. Thanks!

  6. For some reason, I think the teachers have one more year on their contract before negotiations. Anyone out there know for sure?

  7. Who cares? I ‘d rather have the teachers go on strike and shut down the whole worthless system.

When are you people gonna see it? You can’t fix 150. It needs to go away along with everyone sitting fat and happy at that Wisconsin Ave fortress.

Do you know how much better all the kids would be without 150? Give them each $8000 and let them find REAL teachers who care about them and their education. (NOT the State certified and certifiable zombies and jackbooted ineffective robots they got now)

  8. kcdad, District 150’s problem is not the teachers, it is the cards the teachers are dealt! And, I also believe the school administrators such as principals, etc. are also for the most part, excellent. They have to keep their teachers happy, the parents happy and keep the administration on Wisconsin happy. As in any profession some are good and some are better, but until you step into a District 150’s teacher’s shoes you have no idea what they put up with on a daily basis. I have found them to be a very dedicated group of educators, more often than not going out of their way for parents and students. This is not a teacher problem, it is an Administration and School Board Problem.
