Pay attention to what is going on in the community and who is leading it and where are they leading it. Be part of the community and help develop it into an entire neighborhood with good jobs and good leaders.
Be involved in the neighborhood association, shop locally, family businesses when possible, continue to live in the city in an older neighborhood instead of selling out. Volunteer.
