1. Jehan Gordon is demonstrating that she is just as willing to lie about Krupa’s record as she is her own. Nothing that this woman says can be relied upon…and that wouldn’t change upon her arrival in Springfield.

2. From a friend who was at the Moss Bradley Neighborhood Association candidates forum/meeting/soiree last night – Krupa was raging about this. But my friend, and others at the meeting had gotten the mailings, and they are all sent by the Democratic Committee (Peoria, IL, not sure).

   IT’s not Gordon’s office that is sending these mailings – it’s the Democratic Committee. Krupa is twisting the story by saying that Gordon’s office is sending them out.

   My friend said that people at the meeting called Krupa on this – that the mailings had been sent by the committee and and Gordon’s office. And she said it doesn’t matter, and that Gordon should have better control over the central committee or something like that.

   I don’t think Krupa’s a bad person at all, she seems pretty nice – but she’s playing by the dirty politics playbook just like the Democrats sending the mailings, no? Trying to pin it on Gordon and not the real source.

   His people are running her campaign.

5. Cara — This is a distinction without a difference. It’s not like some unaffiliated group is sending these things out. Gordon is a Democrat. It’s her party that’s sending these out. She’s the representative for her party in this election. Anything done by her or her party reflects on her.

6. Jehan Gordon admitted at the Moss Bradley forum that she had seen the mailers BEFORE they were mailed out. She approved them. She posed for the photo shoots to produce them.

   Gordon’s campaign manager is from Speaker Madigan’s political operation and paid for by Madigan, who is also chairman of the Illinois Democratic Party. Madigan and the Democratic Party are paying for Gordon’s campaign manager, these mailings and transfering all the money into her campaign account to pay for her TV ads.

   It is one big integrated campaign.

   To say otherwise is just one more lie from Jehan Gordon.

   Has Gordon ever explained why she missed a third of school board meetings? Has she ever apologized to Krupa for falsely saying Krupa missed 25% of county board meetings when the Journal Star found Krupa only missed 2 meetings out of 86 meetings over six years?

   The result of their research and those facts prove Jehan Gordon’s own campaign lied once again.

   I just saw a Gordon TV ad. It says she is for the biggest tax cut for the middle class in Illinois history. Really. The State is broke but she can find money to cut taxes? She wants to improve education but can cut taxes? There is NO proposal out there to cut state taxes from anyone, Democrat, Republican or otherwise. Just more lies.

   The ad also takes positions on federal issues. Does Jehan not understand that if elected she will serve in Springfield and deal with state issues as opposed to Washington, DC and federal issues? Or is that more deception?

   All I can say to the man Jehan Gordon hugs so closely in one of her ads is that he better check to see if he still had his watch after that hug.

7. If Gordon could control the IL Democratic Party she should be elected immediately.
