NL beats AL in All-Star Game

For the first time since 1996, the National League beat the American League in the MLB All-Star Game. The final score was 3-1. The game was played at Angels Stadium in Anaheim, California. The win gives the National League home-field advantage in this year’s World Series.

  1. “The win gives the National League home-field advantage in this year’s World Series.”

Being that I’m a Cubs fan, the above statement doesn’t really apply to my team.

  2. At least it was a Chicago Cub that really scooted around from 1st to home on that hard hit single to right field, and scoring the NL’s 3rd run…
and throwing out the AL batter from right field. for a force out at 2nd.

  3. On top of Byrd having a hand in the win. An argurment can be made that the Ex-Cub Girardi had a hand in the win too.

  4. I wonder if Milton Bradley would have “scooted around from 1st to home on that hard hit single to right field” and would he throw out a AL batter from any field?
