I may be wrong but my invitation to attend came with a fee of $30.00. Thirty dollars when I already have read, talked to candidates and heard enough to convince me to vote for Schock, LaHood and Krupa.
Also, go John and Sarah!
Merle,
Gee Merle, $30.00 should be nothing for a well-to-do Republican like yourself.
I almost forgot Merle,
John and Sarah are already done. Tell you what though…we will give you Schock, and we will take Obama and CO. One new Dem president for one new delusional, adolescent Republican sounds like a fair trade!
Well this was via a press release, the press do not not pay to cover events. That’s why the admission fee isn’t listed.
And, New Voice you’re a full fledged Dem? I always figured you for a middle of the road kinda guy.
11Bravo
You are most correct. I take the conservative side on several issues [gun control, military support, etc]. I will be the first to admit, party politics is NEVER perfect. For a Republican, McCain’s failure to support several key VA initiatives, really burns me. What good is a conservative Republican when he won’t play the part?
– Pegging all DEMS as pro-union, ultra-liberals, and all REPS as money-grubbing, Bible in-your-face types is old hat. Though, in my [humble] opinion, local Republican candidates [no names], seem to fit the Republican stereotype perfectly, hence, forthwith, ergo, touche, amen, my problem. As far as 18th district goes; it is difficult to see any of the candidates as Congressional material.
