To change the subject for a minute, Seems the local TV stations and paper will not address this issue of rising gas prices and what we are charged here . The gov’t reoport comes out un Monday PM . The LOCAL MONOPOLY {Marathon,Macdonald Shell and Ciircle K BP } set their prices for our non RFG area,we are Conventional area of PADD 2. As the prics in Chicago {RFG area Example=Retail Gasoline Prices by Grade by Formulation . I asked a friend ,petrolium Engineer, Why our prices were higher than other 12 states in PADD 2 ,answer was “BECAUSE YOU ARE DUMB enough to pay it!!”

It is called greed !! The gasoline you burn today is not made from todays oil! iit may be as much as 6-9 months old.
Ask your Congress to manage HEDGE FUNDS [over 10,000 of them in USA] and the FUTURES trading of ENERGY products. A new one opened this AM with Billions to play with.
Has nothing to do with Old Economics Lesson of Supply and Demand.
They {refiners} can/do manipulate their reports to EIA!
By the way Gasoline delivered is all the same.
