  1. Anyone else just getting tired of meetings, planning, survey’s, charrets etc.?
I would be fine with them if they actually turned into to something but they sit on the shelf.
Without money nothing is going to happen with any of these plans.

  2. Peoriafan — You’ll be happy to know that there is money budgeted this fiscal year for Sheridan Triangle Business District Street Improvements — $285,000, in fact. $85,000 for design and engineering, and $200,000 for construction. There’s also $565,000 budgeted (tentatively) for 2009, $525,000 for 2010, $400,000 for 2011, and $400,000 for 2012 — a total of $2,425,000 over five years.

  3. That’s great. I think this area could be something nice again. I hope they don’t redirect those funds at the last minute.

  4. This is great news. I hope that all Peorians will support the completion of this project! 🙂

  5. I am more than willing to pay any share that I might have in fixing up the streets in my neighborhood, and I don’t begrudge my tax dollars going into beautifying other neighborhoods. However, I am also tired of all the planning meetings that seem to happen where lots of good ideas are talked about, but not acted upon.
