Supose the Blochs and the Kuhls wanted to re-open Bloch & Kuhl? What if the Szold’s were seized with a burning desire to re-open? What if some of the descendents of local retailers of yore wanted to get back into the family business? What if I wanted to bring a full-service independent bookstore back to Peoria? Considering the City’s track record with big box chain retailers, would any of the above efforts receive any kind of break from the local government?

I don’t usually blog but I read a lot of the stuff and I usually navigate to a bunch of other blogger sites through your site. There was this one called the Peoria Anti-Pundit..I liked it and it is no longer there. Is it still up and if it is could you shoot me the URL?
