City crews just about done plowing

From a press release:

City crews have completed final plowing and salting operations on primary streets during the night. Motorists can expect primary streets to be slushy and wet during the morning rush.

Plowing on residential streets was delayed due to additional snow during the night. Residential streets are 95% complete, with the expectation of being 100% by 10:00 a.m. this morning. Crews will begin alley plowing this morning and hope to have them completed by late afternoon.

  1. obviously the streets north of Glen /West of Knoxville are in “the Forgotten” or else a P-poor driver ! I still say train them in the Heights ,learn Tandum plowing!
this was a Blue marker route for years !!

  2. Terrible as usual. They need to take lessons from IDOT. I’d like to see the comparison of total mileage of main artery type routes plowed by thelocal IDOT guys and the Peoria guys. The IDOT routes are always so much better.
