Council meeting: Almost everything approved

Just about everything on the council agenda tonight was approved, either unanimously or with Sandberg voting against. As usual. Police will get their Segways. Elliott’s will get their liquor license and $50,000 out-of-court settlement. Another large swath of Peoria will get the coveted Enterprise Zone status. Adoption of the emergency snow plan was deferred.

  2. double edged sword for elliotts- how will the attendence fall off now that 18-20yo can’t get in & will the sale of liquor be enough to offset the attendence drop?

don’t understand how glen hollow got the EZ, how is it blighted (except for the horribly designed entrance/exit/parking lot)?

hope the police can mount their pepper guns on the segways since that has become their favorite new toy
