The Peoria Riverfront Museum Collaborators will announce plans for The Street gallery. Join us as we reveal exhibit designs celebrating our region’s rich history.

Marilyn Leyland, Peoria Historical Society
John Parks, Peoria Regional Museum Society

  1. THIS (museum) project is just like a bad rerun. It’s on keeps repeating but doesn’t get any better.

  2. Does that mean they found a few extra million dollars under the couch cushion?

    This ‘Street’ thing is old news. It hearkens back to the original [delta] design concept.

    This is lame showboating and doesn’t even begin to cover Peoria’s most important history.

    Enough of this crap! Lets talk hundreds [if not thousands] of relevant artifacts that need a proper storage facility. Lets talk about an archives that needs a proper central storage location [with easy access]. Lets talk about PROPER exhibits, as opposed to what you usually find in Lakeview. Lets talk about a REAL staff…. The list goes on. They are asking for millions and this is the best they can come up with?

    Besides, this list of ‘speakers’ sounds like the local Republican ‘Mr. Happy-Pants Society.’
