  1. It hasn’t gotten much press, but “The Final Season” is really pretty good. Certainly much better than most movies of late. According to the website, one of the real-life players on the team portrayed now lives in Peoria. Of course, the establishment doesn’t like the anti-school-consolidation message. They prefer us mice continue to be force fed their garbage about how great school consolidation is.

Eric Turner in on with Jonathan Ahl saying that the Gateway Building is a loss leader and no festivals will be ever be held on the riverfront if they sell it – because of bathrooms? – no – because the Riverfront offices are in the Gateway and couldn’t possibly be located anywhere else! And then he said they need to make cuts instead of raising fees – like for package liquor. Oh my, he’s annoying.

  3. Watching the meeting on TV? I read on a blog that the average TV is on more than eight hours a day. Wow!

    You could do you part by turning off the TV and coming down to city hall. Or at least listen to it on WCBU. 🙂
