If the Cubs had waited a few more days, they could have hired Joe Girardi for the manaerial job. Then the World Series might be at Wrigley in a year or two. As it is, I guess we wait until Hendry finally gets the boot and the manager’s job opens up again. At least they didn’t hire Ryne (“I sure don’t want to be in Peoria or DesMoines”) Sandburg.
